Director of Christian Education and Formation
St. Martins Episcopal Church, Bridgewater, NJ is seeking the services of a part time Director of Christian Education and Formation (DCE&F) to serve as a resource to support, foster and manage the congregation’s Church School and Journey to Adulthood ministry, grades 4 through 12 and look for opportunities to expand beyond current programs to promote St Martins’ growth.
Qualifications for the position include a mix of education, experience and enthusiastic appreciation and familiarity with Episcopal beliefs and practices.
Salary $16K - $20K depending on qualifications.

St. George’s By-The-River, an Episcopal church in Rumson, is seeking someone who is passionate about youth ministry to serve as a halftime Youth Pastor. The position would entail programmatic development for two youth groups: one meeting bimonthly for 6 th through 8 th graders and one meeting weekly for youth in high school. Responsibilities would include logistical coordination (calendars, phone calls, fund collection, parish-wide updates, etc.) as well as actual involvement with the youth at the meetings. Other responsibilities would be the development of confirmation content and scheduling, the assurance of acolyte efficacy, and a pursuit of youth opportunities in available Christian events. The position would be in collaboration with the St. George’s Curate and would work with a council to ensure the integrity of youth ministry. The Youth Pastor must be someone who is grounded in the Christian faith and holds a vision for youth, but need not be a seminary graduate.

Wanted: Part-Time Director of Youth Ministries
Where: St. Luke's Episcopal Church - Metuchen, NJ
The Director of Youth Ministries (DYM) will oversee the Youth Ministry and Christian Education programs of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Expressly, the DYM will develop and coordinate new and existing programs for our young people such as Christian education and Confirmation classes, youth groups, summer programs, special outings, and community service opportunities. The DYM is a part-time, non-benefits position of up to 20 hours per week, 11 months of the year. The position will be contracted for a two-year term, with the potential for a longer-term commitment dependent upon positive evaluation after the initial two-year period and Vestry approval. Hourly and daily commitment of time will vary based on youth activities, regularly scheduled meetings, and the church calendar. Compensation negotiable based upon experience.
